Joanna has over 15 years of experience in the investment management and tax accounting industry. Prior to joining Lyell Wealth Management, Joanna was a Principal/Wealth Manager at Cerity Partners providing comprehensive investment management and financial planning services to high-net worth individuals and families. She started her career and worked for a decade as a Portfolio Manager at Atherton Lane Advisers. After BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s acquisition of Atherton Lane Advisers Joanna worked at BNY for three years as a Wealth Manager and Vice President.
Joanna holds a M.S. in Taxation in addition to a B.S. with a concentration in Finance from San Jose State University. Joanna holds an active California CPA license and has worked in public accounting as a tax preparer. She is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
Joanna lives in Sunnyvale with her husband and two growing children. In her free time Joanna loves spending time with her family and traveling. She enjoys volunteering in the community and serves as Treasurer for Sunnyvale Heritage Park Museum.
